Boykin Edwards, Jr. is founder of Boykin Edwards, Jr., P.C., Attorney At Law. He has significant litigation and trial experience in both federal and state courts. Mr. Edwards represents individuals and companies of all sizes in a wide range of legal civil matters. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving personal injury from auto accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall, probate of estates, probate disputes and business issues.
Attorney Boykin Edwards, Jr. has handled many jury trials. He has been able to recover millions of dollars in damages for his clients. Before starting his law practice, he had sixteen ( 16) years of experience representing two (2) major insurance companies. This gives him an advantage as to how the insurance industry operates. He knows the reasons to have an accurate “reserve” on a personal injury case, He knows how a “reservation of rights” or “non-waiver” can impact a case. He knows when handling a personal injury case how the value outcome can be different with a stock insurance company versus a mutual insurance company. These are only a sampling of his knowledge and background to better assist his clients.
Since 1988 he has represented individuals against insurance companies. His formal training and experience prove to be beneficial to his clients. Since starting his law practice, he has received many awards and commendations. These include being appointed in 1999 by the Supreme Court of Georgia to serve as a “SPECIAL MASTER”. A Special Master handles investigation, recommendation and disposition of disciplinary actions against attorneys to ensure maximum protection to the public. In 2000, Mr. Edwards was appointed and served as a part-time Judge in DeKalb Recorder’s Court until the Court was dissolved in 2015.
